I am a survivor of domestic violence and sexual assault I never saw an awareness ribbon that represented ending violence against women and children. I would always see the pink ribbon and other awareness items and wish we had something that represented our cause. I had an "Ah-ha" moment and said wouldn't it be nice to have a ribbon that represented our cause so one day I decided it was time and I created a collaborative ribbon to signify the collective goals of three great missions; domestic violence, sexaul assault and child abuse awareness. This ribbon gives us a unified message to end violence against women and children. That is my "Ah-ha" moment and I am greatful for the opportunity to turn a test into a testimony to help change the lives of others.
