About a year ago, I was diagnosed with a chordoma, a very rare type of tumor. I was in Indiana to get a rare treatment called proton bean radiation. I was far away from home without my family and was lucky enough to stay at a place for people just like me called Jill's House. The person who ran the house is in charge of the Indiana University Alumni Association and offered us tickets whenever we wanted. Becoming a Hoosier's fan helped me though the treatments and being away from my family for so long.
