As a volunteer for the 1996 Olympic Games in Savannah. I had worked 22 straight days, 12-14 hrs a day, most of it in the hot summer sun, with 1-2 box lunches a day. We were riding a bus back to the parking lot, and the driver was complaining about having to work overtime. I had just experienced the greatest time of my of my life and realized, it's not the money that motivates us and makes us happy, its the feelings of giving back, helping others to accomplish what they want in life, or being part of a worthy cause.
