My aha moment is seeing people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds work together to change a whole city. My organization, St. Andrews Center, works with inner-city families in 23 different languages to offer medical, financial, educational, artistic, agricultural and other services, and help connect them to the community. It’s not an original idea, but to put that into practice and to see these collaborations come together, that’s an aha moment to me.
