Twelve years ago, I began working as an ESL teacher. I came in contact with families in extreme need. There were language barriers and issues related to poverty and literacy. I made it my mission to talk to as many people as I could and tell those families’ stories. Eventually, Rev. Mike Feely and I were able help start the St. Andrews Center. In this one building, we are able to positively impact the families by meeting their needs.
