Started the Reschool Yourself project - if you could do your education over again, what would you do differently? Reschool Yourself is my opportunity to answer this question during the 2008-2009 academic year. By going back to school as a grown-up and following my curiosity wherever it takes me, I’m trying to understand how school influenced what I know and who I am, and to reeducate myself on my own terms. Last fall was about the past. I returned to my old classrooms week by week, to understand how school helped make me who I am today, and to reconnect with the humor and creativity I had as a kid. This spring is about the future. By trial and error, I’m figuring out what lifestyle suits me best. I’m reconnecting with old hobbies and learning the things I’ve always wanted to. By sharing my experiences through a blog and later in a book, I hope to encourage others to reshape their own learning and self-image at any age.
