Transitional Sizes, Inc. was started in June, 2008 by Elizabeth Smith a native of Severna Park and her friend Robert Kopp of West Palm Beach. The idea came to Elizabeth after she lost her home to an electrical fire. At that time Elizabeth was losing weight and did not want to invest in a wardrobe that she was only going to wear temporarily. The idea came to her in the shower. She researched the idea for renting a temporary wardrobe and found that no one offered such a service. Hence, Transitional Sizes that made it premature debut when the foreign media picked it up as one of that weeks best entrepreneur ideas in the world. Since the launch of www.TransitionalSizes.com has been published in media in over fifteen different countries and has been featured on television in Canada and United States and even recently selected for a primetime show for ABC
