"My aha moment was when I realized I don't want to be another statistic. I am single mother of two, have no job, and struggle to support my kids. One day I want to own a home and have a great career. I want my kids to say I'm the person I am because of my mother. I want to be proud of myself. I've learned I need to stop looking for handouts and start working to be new "me"."
