I was born and raised in New Mexico and always enjoyed the slower pace of life. As I got older I decided I wanted to try something new, something with a faster pace so I picked up and moved to Washington D.C. What I discovered was great people, amazing food and a great city. And then one night, on New Year's Eve, I went out to diner and was having an incredible time. I stopped by the water and just listened to the city. The sounds were so different than those at home and it really made me miss it. I decided I didn't like D.C as much as I was telling myself I was. So I put all my stuff in the back of my car and drove home to Albuquerque. It took three days and I have never regretted my decision. It took leaving home to realize where I really belong.
