I have an aha moment that centers around my friend, Lenny, who is hearing-impaired and mentally-challanged. I met Lenny through our church's special needs class. I was asked to be an usher at our church. We're looking for ways to get our special needs members more involved in the church activities, so we arranged for Lenny to work with me as an usher and greeter. What a difference Lenny has made! People immediately feel welcomed and loved when greeted by Lenny. He reinfornces the whole idea of going to church in the first place!
