Although I had a happy life with my wife and kids, I knew I had been ignoring my desire to become an actor. I auditioned for a part in a film and although I didn't get it the director ended up writing a part specifically for me because he thought I was so funny. He encouraged me to do stand-up comedy and I have never looked back.
